Image* Book

This project was designed as a visual resource for students exploring various image treatment techniques during the creative process. The book features a curated collection of experimental effects, edits, and printing methods, providing practical examples and inspiration for classmates working on print and digital projects. It serves as a hands-on guide to help students test, compare, and apply different visual treatments while developing their work.

    || Constant Practice ||

    This editorial layout was created for INK Magazine, designed to visually capture the nostalgic, archival spirit of the brand Constant Practice. Drawing inspiration from the brand’s emphasis on memory, cultural storytelling, and vintage aesthetics. The layout merges clean, modern typography with textured backgrounds and layered image treatments.

     Incorporating an exclusive interview with Constant Practice’s brand manager, the feature balances contemporary editorial structure with subtle nods to retro print culture, creating a visual narrative that feels both current and timeless.
    Key Design Choices:

    • Three spreads (six pages) structured to reflect the rhythm of an unfolding conversation, punctuated with bold pull quotes and organic image placement.

    • Body copy is bottom justified for a clean, intentional visual line anchoring the text, preserving readability while honoring the editorial requirements

    • Hyphenation disabled to maintain a clean, uniform text flow.

    Nabi Amor:

    NABI AMOR: BlackCode is a fashion and design collection born from personal history, cultural resilience, and the ongoing tension between authenticity and corporate expectation.

    Inspired by growing up with a mother deeply rooted in '90s culture — where fashion was bold, intentional, and unapologetic — this collection fuses ‘90s corporate aesthetics with streetwear sensibilities to create visual statements that honor identity, culture, and creative rebellion.

    At its core, BlackCode explores how fashion operates as both armor and language, especially for Black creatives navigating systems not built with them in mind. Through a mix of screen printing, upcycled materials, hand-painted details, and typographic graphics, each piece tells a story of history, individuality, and cultural pride.

    Deliverables: photobook, photocards, prints, & stickers
